What was your first job?
I worked at a sub shop during school. Then I took a job as a receptionist at a title company and never looked back. This was a while ago, back when we used typewriters for policies on carbon copy paper.
What is the best advice you were ever given?
Make your bed first thing in the morning. Because no matter what else is going on, you start your day with a win.
If there was a movie about your life, who would you want to play you?
Melissa McCarthy, she brings the humor!!
What is the weirdest thing you have ever eaten?
Rattlesnake! When my father was in the service we lived in Alabama. Every year we went to a rattlesnake rodeo. That was when I was a little more adventurous.
What energizes you at work?
Every file has people from a different walk of life. I do love a challenge and figuring things out. It just feels good when you can deal with difficult people or difficult questions and are able to share your knowledge. Especially with first time home buyers!
What is one thing you do to turn around a bad day?
Laugh … You have to find humor in it or you are not going make it in this business. Something can go wrong before you even log on in the morning. That’s why Melissa McCarthy is going to play me in the movie.
